Our unconventional research group is affiliated with Harvard and MIT and is open to mentoring postdocs with research interests in biology (high-throughput screens and systems biology) and computer science (image processing, image analysis, statistics, data mining, or data visualization). Please contact us directly. Include your CV and research statement.

We also welcome undergraduate and graduate students through our affiliations with the Whitehead Institute, MIT, and Harvard. Please contact us directly. Include a brief description of your academic background and interests.

We occasionally have openings for permanent staff scientists. Future such openings will be advertised on this page.

The Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard generates millions of images of cells in large scale screens to determine the functions of genes and to identify useful chemicals for research and for therapeutics. The Imaging Platform's mission is to quantify the information present in cellular images to yield biological discoveries. We develop open-source software tools and help biologists at the Broad and throughout the world to apply them to significant questions in the life sciences. To learn more about the team and what we do, check out the About and Press pages.
